60's Make Up

If u want an earlier Make Up , just look at my Blog, i've done: The 3x 20's, 30's, 40's & 2 x 50's.

The start of the 1960s saw a continuation of the 1950s makeup looks, with a flicked upper eye line, matte eye shadows (in greys, greens and blues) and lipsticks ranging from red to corals and pink.

Just a few years later, the distinctive dark eye shadow crease came in, matched with pale lips and pastel colours, and became all the rage. False lashes were incredibly popular.

1960s high-fashion makeup became all about the eyes; the rest of the face was kept more soft and natural, or pale and understated.

What I used?! Here it is:

Black Long Eyelashes of Splendid
Lovely Lashes of Sunny Bunny
Roses Crown of Riviera

Rose Opal Shadow of Dot
Eyeshadow Pearl No11 of Sephora
Midnight Black Eyepencil/Eyeliner/Eyebrowpencil/Volume & Normal Mascara of Dot
Quest Blush Pink
Exotic Peach Lipstick of Transform
Lipgloss of Luxe

40's Make Up

I saw on a "Starblog" a 40's Make Up (one month ago?!), but that was sooooo soooo bad. So I decided, to make a Make Up for the 40's too. Not everyone knows that the 40's had his own style, too, so all the people just think, it's enough to do any black eyeliner and some white eyeshadow and it's 40's, or some people think, Vintage is just Red Lipstick and black Eyeliner, ....

What I used for this Make Up?

Royal White Eyeshadow of Dot
Bronze Eyeshadow of Transform
Midnight Black Volume & Normal Mascara, Eyepencil of Dot
Quest Brown Eyeliner
Bronze Blush of Transform
Ruby Shiny Lipstick (Quest Lipstick)
Lipgloss of Luxe

What was it like to live in the 1920's? Learn about Flappers, Fashion, Music, Politics, the Stock Market Crash of 1929 and the following Depression years.

Dramatic 20’s make-up is a great way to update your look to embrace some old Hollywood glamour. The 1920s was the era of the Flapper, a time when nice girls could be bad – at least in the evenings! Makeup played a huge part in helping women recover from the horrors of the war, and assert their new sense of feminine power. Helena Rubinstein famously said ‘ If you can show me a woman who doesn’t want to look young and beautiful – well, I’m afraid she isn’t in her right mind. Women all want it – and we admit that they do !’

The 1920s woman was the first to truly create an artificial face. Startling eyes, scarlet lips and a pale pallor – thanks to buckets of powder resembling that of a corpse. The consumer boom in makeup – simplified women’s requirements and a handbag carried all any daring flapper needed. Cake mascara – applied with a brush and the ever present push up tube lipstick.
